Medical Applications
Golden Collar manufactures precision PTFE and fluoropolymer components for medical equipment, laboratory systems, analytical instruments and fluid-handling applications, based on customer drawings, samples and operating requirements.
Request a QuoteMedical Requirements
Medical and life science equipment can expose polymer components to process fluids, laboratory reagents, cleaning agents, temperature variation and repeated operating cycles. Fluid-contact, sealing, guiding and insulating parts may also require controlled dimensions and consistent material identification.
Material selection therefore depends on more than chemical resistance. Component geometry, cleanliness requirements, operating conditions, mechanical load, inspection criteria and requested documentation should be reviewed together for each equipment application.
Laboratory Fluid Handling
HPLC, chromatography and laboratory fluid systems move samples, solvents, reagents and cleaning media through compact flow paths where chemical compatibility, low surface adhesion and dimensional control can be important.
PTFE, PFA and FEP tubing or components may be considered for fittings, seals, valve elements, insulating parts and custom flow-path geometries when the selected grade suits the media, pressure, temperature, cleaning method and equipment specification.

Medical Sealing Components
Precision-machined PTFE valve components, diaphragms, seal rings and gaskets can support pumps, valves, dispensing assemblies and controlled fluid connections in medical and laboratory equipment.
Performance depends on component geometry, pressure, temperature, mating surfaces, media, cleaning conditions and the specific fluoropolymer grade. These requirements and any documentation needs should be confirmed for each project.

Precision PTFE Components
Golden Collar manufactures custom PTFE and fluoropolymer components according to customer drawings, sample dimensions, specified materials and intended operating conditions for medical, laboratory and analytical equipment.
CNC turning, milling, drilling, boring and threading can be combined to produce valve components, seals, rings, bushings, insulators, fluid-handling components and custom geometries.
Critical dimensions, surface requirements, mating features, material grade and inspection needs are reviewed before prototype, sample or repeat OEM production.

Medical Materials
Material selection should be based on the fluid or chemical exposure, operating temperature, pressure, cleanliness requirements, mechanical load, component geometry and requested documentation. Suitability must be confirmed for the specific grade and intended equipment use.
Explore PTFE MaterialsVirgin PTFE
Considered for chemical resistance, low friction, electrical insulation and clean fluid-contact or precision-machined components, subject to the specific equipment application and documentation requirements.
PFA
A melt-processable fluoropolymer considered for selected high-purity chemical fluid handling, tubing and formed fluid-contact applications.
FEP
A melt-processable option considered for selected tubing, fluid handling and electrical-insulation applications.
Filled / Modified PTFE
Considered where wear, creep resistance or dimensional behavior needs to be modified. Filler type and suitability must be reviewed for the specific operating and fluid-contact conditions.
Prototype to Production
Golden Collar can begin with a customer drawing or sample, then review material, geometry, tolerances, operating conditions, manufacturing approach and requested inspection before prototype or sample production.
Once the part and inspection requirements are confirmed, the project can progress to repeat OEM production with agreed material, dimensional and documentation controls.

Quality & Inspection
Quality planning can be aligned with customer drawings, material specifications, dimensional requirements and requested documentation. Controls can include material verification, in-process checks, final inspection and traceability or supporting records where applicable. Management-system certificates and material test reports do not constitute medical-device approval of a specific component.
- Material verification where specified
- In-process and final dimensional inspection
- Traceability where applicable
- Inspection and material documentation where applicable
