PTFE is excellent at high temperatures, with a maximum operating temperature of 250. It also has good low-temperature resistance. Even when the temperature is as low as -196 degrees, it still maintains a certain level of mechanical toughness.
In the medical field, PTFE has a physiological inertia and is non-toxic. It can be used to implant artificial organs, blood vessels or heart valves in the body for varying periods of time without causing adverse reactions.
